This is a scriptural look into the perils of seeking answers and salvation from the wrong place.Īccording to the information pulled from Steele’s Wikipedia page, he was the youngest of 6 children and had five older sisters. This isn’t a celebration of Peter Steele’s sinful life or of his wicked and satanic music. I am going to try and only provide the details of Peter Steele’s life that’s relevant to the topics of the study. I want this study to serve as a cautionary tale to the reader. Trust only in the Lord Jesus Christ from within the pages of a King James Bible. The other reason for this study is because I want to warn people who are lost and seeking answers not to trust men or the church. This is one of the main reasons why I feel compelled to do this study on him now. I was intrigued with the things that he said and fascinated to see he was actually serious about his new found religion. I remember him admitting to being a newly converted Roman Catholic. At this time, I vividly remember Peter Steele doing an interview shortly before his death. Being that I also was a bass player in a heavy metal band and was influenced by his music. In my lost life, I actually liked the band Type O Negative and even idolized Peter Steele to a certain extent. This study isn’t going to be a in depth look at Steele’s life or music career, but a look at the conviction of his sinful life that he had come under in his later years and how he turned to the Roman Catholic Church for answers. He was born on the 4 th of January 1962 and died on the 14 th of April, 2010. Peter Steele was the singer and bassist for the heavy metal band, Type O Negative.

For this study we’re going to be taking a biblical look at the final years and religious convictions of Petrus Thomas Ratajczyk aka Peter Steele.
